Portuguese Unemployment at two speeds

There are close to 840,000 unemployed people in Portugal and 56 000 are in this situation for over a year. The figures for the third quarter of 2013, such as the Instituto Nacional de Estatística (INE) released, are still alarming. Unemployment Rate in Portugal decreased to 15.60 percent in the third quarter of 2013 from 16.40 percent in the second quarter of 2013.
